Proud,

vast,

curiously talented, 

surprisingly hawkish,

Canada is a mystery -

resting comfortably

just above the 49th.

Quietly grand,

Canada gazes through

an independent lens.

During the off seasons,

lands become frozen,

yielding nothing -

including forgiveness.

Streams are pristine

and so is the air,

Hudson Bay beckons quietly,

with fisherman toiling bravely -

their families praying

for that perfect season.
