Rebirth

A true breath of fresh air

in the midst of the often

stale and stagnant everyday,

the man has hope for the new day.

The better angels of his nature

finally sing triumphant,

for he is happier now –

his soul content.

His aged bed now’s laid

with new fresh sheets,

should he grow weary to rest.

Like a flower in bloom,

the petals of talents, traits and trademarks

burst forth simultaneously,

as the sun rises

in the crimson eastern sky.

Today IS a new day.
