Window

Small and mysterious

its framed tight and true -

relinquishing quietly

its secrets to you.

It is shrouded by ignorance,

known only to few -

but one's wisdom can deepen

if you choose to look through.

It’s a moment in time

or a space near a door -

to ignore it completely

makes life such a bore.

Great insight and love

is what is in store -

but we breeze by too quickly,

and the window's no more.
