so quiet and tender.

Snow falling on fences,

adding soul to the posts.

Snow falling on hilltops –

they’re much better hosts.

Snow falling on land,

so perfectly chilled.

Snow falling in mountains –

let ski slopes be filled.

Snow falling around us,

so peaceful and moving.

Snow falling heavily –

nature’s might she is proving.

Snow falling at night,

not making a sound.

Snow falling in passes –

the traveler’s bound.

Snow falling on trees,

so splendid and subtle.

Snow falling on man –

bringing rest to the hustle.
